Korova Bar - The fun is upstairs

Located in a second floor, close-by our dear Schwartz’s, the Korova bar features good DJs and a hip ambiance.

Unpretentious and under the radar, it will remind you of your typical college bar - no rules on dressing, no rules on debauchery, no rules. You’ll feel like in a late 70s basement... in a second floor.

Dead at 11:30pm, but jammed packed by midnight. If you are in need of a good sweat, the Korova bar is the place for you. An easily filled dance floor and a hip clientele will guarantee you an exciting night.

Preferable days are Wednesday to Saturday: less people, still great atmosphere.

A first for the Pub-Club-Food Night (November 27th)

A real success to repeat, and repeat over and over!

We meet at Sherbrooke metro station... all different people, from different places.

At first, people were shy a bit and didnt dare asking anything. Walking toward St-Laurent boulevard, we gave information here and there about how to go about in the city and how Montrealer are...
Before we left for the club... things were already more friendly

Once we got to the pub, though, everything warmed up pretty fast. Jokes were coming from side to side of the table and strangers became acquaintances.

In the club... lets pose together everyone!
We, then, followed to the club. With the ambiance and the lighting, people got loose! I even overheard a conversation between Matty and some quebecois girls... If you would have seen the smile on his face.

A little tired from all this excitement, with some new followers, we went to grab a bite. Thaï noodles: always good! Everyone chatted, told stories, laughed...

After that meal, we were not acquaintances anymore... friendship was in the air.

Thank you all for have been a part of this... see you soon!

The Best Coffee in Montreal?

Well, not all Montrealers concord on that specific issue, and it can lead to some good arguments, but let me present you the Coffee fight of Montreal: Café Iitalia vs Café Olympico.

Cafe Italia, 6840 St Laurent   VS
Café Olympico, 124, rue St-Viateur Ouest
You might prefer the sport conversations in front of Café Italia or the laid-back sunny terrace of Café Olympico, it's up to you. Though, really, the issue here is a mater of taste!
By that, I mean a matter of tasting the coffee.
Taste can't be describe with words...

So, you'll have to visit them and make your own idea on the fight... because, one day, someone will ask you the horrible question: "which one is the best?"
You'll have to know, and try arguing... a taste.

Frenche ou meurs!

One of Montreal's most creative concept, «Frenche ou meurs» is an event featuring the french kiss!

Nothing cheesy here, just some people nostalgic of high school dances. In a classy and laid back atmosphere where the white lights and the pink color reign in king, everything is made to foster... kissing.
Of course, respect is the norm here; no one will jump right a you. Let's just say all is done to create the good conditions for the art of the kiss.

Since Valentine's day 2007, «Frenche ou meurs» is organized at certain times of the year.
